Treasured Wheels is separated from the neighbors by an half natural – half dug trench , crossable only by a bridge decorated with helmets of the Allied Forces from the second world war days . This is one of its kind history museum or rather collection of relics and souvenirs located in a very beautiful natural location which adds to the beauty of the items .
Cars ranging from Morris to Volkswagen bus and bikes from the second world war era . And the list does not just stop with cars and bikes . Gas masks , parachutes and even safes from the time of the second world war are also part of the collection .
You can even have your lunch there if you want .So next time you are in Guwahati , please do make it a point to take sometime off and visit this beautiful collection and help the collector to conserve and maintain the historical artifacts . How to get there :
Located about one kilometer off the AH 1 ( also known as NH 37 ) at Tepesia , Sonapur . Take the service lane and then take left towards Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education , Sonapur . Few meters before the gate of the institute , there is another left towards the Spring valley resort , follow that road uphill to the very end which is about half-a-kilometer , to reach this beautiful history museum .
9 AM to 6 PM Everyday .
